October – Respect Life Month

respect life

Yesterday at Mass we had a wonderful priest from ‘Priests for Life’  give a beautiful homily on the sanctity of human life. So, since October is ‘Respect Life’ month and even though the month is almost over I wanted to take some time to post about this important topic.

UN Plan for Refugees Exposes U.S. to Terrorists

The information in this article must be made known.  I hope you will read it and share it.

The UN tells UN member countries, including the U.S., how many refugees they must accept.

Most Americans are stunned when they find out that our nation’s military forays for the past 70 years have been controlled by the United Nations. Some, of course, refuse to believe this even when presented with the documents and facts proving the claim.

In brief, when the United States entered the Korean War in 1950, President Truman cited authority contained in the NATO Pact formulated in 1949. NATO has always been a UN stepchild, and the UN remains in control. Most of the shooting in Korea stopped in 1953, but tens of thousands of U.S. forces remain in South Korea as part of the United Nations overall command. There never has been a formal termination of hostilities in the Korean theater. If the UN doesn’t want formal termination, it won’t happen.

The success achieved by world planners with their creation of NATO encouraged them in Continue reading

St. Teresa of Avila – Feast Day October 15

Let nothing trouble you, let nothing make you afraid. All things pass away. God never changes. Patience obtains everything. God alone is enough.” ~ St. Teresa of Avila

St. Teresa of Avila

St. Teresa was a Spanish mystic born in 1515. She came from a loving family and as a child she loved to read the lives of the saints and martyrs with her brother, Rodrigo.

She joined the Carmelite Order and was the founder of the Discalced Carmelites, Continue reading

Support Your Local Police and Keep Them Independent

Hopefully, we made clear in our 9/11 post, the importance of supporting local and independent police.  Local police, independent of federal government controls, and beholden to the communities they serve, are an important part of our free society.  They certainly need our support and our vigilance, to keep them independent of an expanding federal government.  In the 9/11 post, we explained that the uprisings in Ferguson and elsewhere have been paid for by George Soros, with organization and manpower provided by the socialist international.  This kind of rioting applies pressure to local law enforcement.  At the same time, the Obama administration has been offering equipment and training to local police forces, which would turn them into a military style force, beholden to the federal government.  This article from The New American, provides some background information.  Mentioned in the article, is a former Newark, NJ police detective named, Jim Fitzgerald.  Mr. Fitzgerald will be At the Towamencin Firehouse, next Wednesday (10/21), at 7:30 pm.  For more information, go here.  I urge you to go and listen to what Mr. Fitzgerald has to say.  He has so much knowledge to impart, on this important topic.  I also recommend that you read this special issue of The New American magazine.

I remind you that funds, training, and equipment from the federal government to our local police, will mean federal control over police.  Nationalized police, such as the gestapo and KGB, are necessary to control people in a slave state, while local independent police are an important element in a free nation.

The TPP must be opposed

On Monday October 5, 2015, U.S. Trade Representative, Michael Froman, announced that the United States and 11 other Pacific Rim nations have finally reached an agreement on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).   I strongly urge you to read the post entitled, “TPP, TTIP, and TiSA… What would Washington Say?”  I agree with Senator Jeff Sessions, that the TPP  will lead us into  economic then political union with Asia and the Pacific Rim  nations, just as the European Union is a political Union that grew out of economic union.  These trade unions will erode our independence, just as George Washington warned.  I hope you will watch the seven minute video with Senator Sessions.  I strongly urge you to oppose the TPP by contacting the proper government officials.  The TPP has to be approved by Congress before we are committed to it.  For more information go here.  I received an email alert from the JBS about this, that may also be of interest.  It exposes some of the secrecy in the wording of this agreement.  For all the talk of  transparency this administration is being very secretive about these trade partnerships.

Happy Columbus Day!

No one should fear to undertake any task in the name of our Savior, if it is just and if the intention is purely for His holy service.  ~ Christopher Columbus

America, you are beautiful…and blessed…The ultimate test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most defenseless. If you want equal justice for all and true freedom and lasting peace, then, America, defend life. ~ St. John Paul II

We should pray for Monsignor Charamsa

Monsignor Krysztof Charamsa, for 12 years, has been a member of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which is tasked with promoting and defending Church doctrine.  Now on the eve of the Synod on the family he has chosen to apply pressure on the Pope to change Church doctrine.  CNN reported it this way;  “With his partner at his side, Monsignor Krysztof Olaf Charamsa held a news conference Saturday in Rome, calling on Pope Francis to revise Catholic doctrine on homosexuality, which considers same-sex relationships sinful.”

Do you think he became a priest intending to serve Christ?  It seems more likely that he had an agenda in becoming a priest, then sought a position with the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith to push the changes he desired. Perhaps, after twelve years of attempting to change Church doctrine,  he has decided he might be more effective in “coming out” publicly to put pressure on the Synod.  CNN quoted Charamsa this way; ” Continue reading

Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary AND the 444th Anniversary of the Battle of Lepanto

Today is the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. It was St. Dominic who began encouraging people to say the Holy Rosary around the year 1190. St. Dominic was saddened by the people who were spreading a terrible heresy called Albigensianism. He begged the Blessed Virgin for help and she told him to preach devotion to the Holy Rosary.

Today is also the 444th anniversary of the Battle of Lepanto…a very interesting story. Continue reading
